Bud, I think the trick to earning the badge is making the subtle comments that get people stirred up without them realizing what you did.
Unless you take the team approach that BKB identified. Jimmy scoops it all up in a great big pile and then Larke kicks the pile all over the place. It's art, really :)

Me????? I just speak facts mixed in with common sense and reason. Sometimes it bitch slaps folks back to reality. :D
The SD badge and Noticer badge are awarded by the secret committee. Having a Jr. Noticer Badge myself, I can't help but notice that you have breached protocol, as well as common etiquette, by asking for said SD badge. This infraction may delay your SD status.

You asked the wrong person.... lol!
There it is, a temporary badge, will expire once I get back from vacation... However, if you have nice 30-30.....

I'm the official Treasurer and I DO accept bribes for beginner badges. That said, to become a professional SD'er or Senior Noticer, there has to be a 100% approval vote by the Secret Committee, and THAT sir, is a tough nut to crack. :)
BTW, the badge Nandy issued above is just a complimentary "wannabe badge" commonly issued to whiners. It affords no official powers or benefits and is strictly a feel-good token.
