Question: Was it you that was a Stroppe Bronco fan? Someone mentioned it here years ago and for some reason I was thinking it was you. If not, it was SOMEBODY here.
I got an eMail from my very close buddy Willie Stroppe (Bill Jr.) today letting me know his mother passed away today. She was 94 years old and a beautiful lady. In a way, her passing marks the end of an era for me as I could always picture she and Bill sitting in their living room as Willie and I were making plans to find some sort of trouble to get into that evening.

Anybody who doesn't know who Bill Stroppe is, the following is a pretty good synopsis of his life. We lost another major "old-schooler" 20 years ago, and now mom. This getting old and losing people around me is starting to suck. :(
Here's a nice read about Bill if anybody's interested. I don't want to bore anyone, it's just that with mom's passing, some old memories are flooding in of all the time I spent in the Stroppe hauler years ago. :(
