Looks like we gots an estate sale coming up this weekend that really looks interesting. They say the place is so packed with "junk" that the sale will be held for four days (they're usually two). The heading on the ad reads: 4-DAY LAKE-FRONT ESTATE SALE PACKED w/ OVER 70 YEARS WORTH OF ACCUMULATION!
There are hundreds and hundreds of books ... rooms full of them ... with a very large collection by Louis L'Amour, old WWII militaria, camping/fishing/hunting stuff, old camera equipment, musical instruments, pocket knives ... you name it, it's in there.
Heck there's not much of anything that's NOT in this house. They have over 700 photos attached to the ad and I'm itching to start digging through that stuff. One thing that really caught my eye is the cast iron. I just sold a Griswold Dutch Oven like the one shown for $200 and sold one of those large skillets for $225 just last week. My buddy and I are planning an early start and hope to be at the head of the line Thursday morning! I'm excited! ;)
Here are a coupl'a CI pics. (heck, even that old meat cleaver will bring $30)

The house is PACKED with antiques and it looks like NOTHING was ever thrown away through the years. This old shed also looks interesting. I talked to the guy running the sale and he said the shed hasn't been opened in 20-30 years, so they have to cut the lock off and haven't even looked inside yet, but will be getting to it sometime this week. I can't wait to dig through that thing! ;)
