Heading out tomorrow for Estes Park by way of Devils Tower, any must-see or -do things to take in while we are in the area?

1. Go fish in the Big Thompson River. Or at least go dip your toadies in it. Beautiful river.
2. Drive Trailridge Road from end to end. You won't regret it.

I'll second the reccomendation for Trail Ridge Road. Prolly need to hit it before the end of October, or it'll be closed.

You might want to swing over to the Little Big Horn Battlefields, Interesting drive through there. My bud and I took a Bike ride to there, Devils tower and Sturgis couple of years back.

Thumper, I've been around a long time. Lost computer and all my info. It wouldn't let me come back as Flatlander till new system came up. I was here when Helen and Mark Miller were on.

The only other Kansanian that we had on the board moved to Lotusland. He wasn't a very good Kansas rep though. He hadn't been road hunting in years.
Welcome back, Flatlander! How's tricks?

I gave up skydiving and always wondered if I'd enjoy one of these things. 'Course it's too late now to find out ... my back wouldn't be able to take it. So, I'll have to live vicariously ... let us know how it went!

It was great. I've done it once before but first time for the kids, & they learned falling to the earth in a controlled manner is harder then it looks.
My daughter was more then a bit apprehensive about the whole thing but when the instructor said we could pay for more flight time she shot me an oh-can-I-dad look in record time. Am guessing they will all do it again some day.

That's cool, but I know for a fact that I couldn't bring myself to jump out of a perfectly good airplane.
