All this BGE talk got me itching for a new grill so I went out and found a sweet deal on one of these Vision Pro C. It is slightly used, he wanted $550 and I got him down to $325. I also sold my Hasty Bake for $150 more than I bought it so I ended up $275 after everything was said and done.

What's all them dials and stuff on that thang?????
Niner, those dials are the vents. The first one is numbered 1-5 and the second one is 6-10. Then the top vent is numbered 1-5. It came with a temp guide that says if you want to get to x temp open the bottom vents to x and the top vent to x. it's really pretty handy. Trav, I know those Hasty Bakes are the bomb, but I think you'll like this. Something about the shape traps some extra moisture in whatever you're cooking and everything I've tried so far has come out a winner. Also, the ceramic holds the heat very nicely when you're smoking meat.
Congrats! You're getting as gadgety as Baugnon!

My work here is done......Converted you to ceramic finally........which for you having a hasty bake is really only a step up from a 7 to a 10.....but BBP I converted from a gas grill to ceramic which is -1 to a 10. I consider my conversion of BBP to be my greatest feet proving that you can teach a very old dog new tricks!

If you can teach him to not burn the steaks you will reach Nirvana. I hope his aversion to pink and juicy doesn't translate into the rest of his life. I told him countless times they already killed the cow we don't have to burn it to death but he don't listen so well.

We let him grill our steaks that Cap'n brought up for our 'Doah fishing trip. Had I known he burns them like he does, Id'a tried to sober up enough to grill them :)
In his defense, he DID try to leave a trace of pink in some of them and I think it about killed him to do it :)

Trav, I highly reccomend you try a spatchcocked chicken on that new grill.
The ones I have smoked on my little EGG have been awesome.

Sounds like something that could land you in jail... it's just a fancy term for cutting your chicken in half before you cook it.
