I'm shipping an eBay package to Colorado. I always compare all shipping options (between USPS, UPS and FedEx) and always ship via the cheapest option. In this case, that turned out to be FedEx. So, as I went to print the label for this particular package, here are the posted (FedEx) prices I came up with:
FedEx Smart Post (this is the slowest, all by ground and where FedEx delivers to the nearest Post Office to the recipient, then the P.O. delivers to the recipient's address) - $14.69
FedEx Home Delivery (Pretty slow, also ground all the way, where FedEx handles the transportation from shipper to recipient) - $15.05
BUT ... FedEx 2-Day (lightning fast 2-day delivery from Florida to Colorado) - $12.06
Alright, (I ain't complaining, mind you) but your assignment is to explain to me how 2-day shipping is the cheapest route to go! :huh
