Lynn and I are going to be taking a little getaway for a couple weeks next month and we left plenty of room for travel time, so ... our schedule is flexible. We're already booked on Delta.
I guess to prevent running into a United type of nightmare, they changed their policy this week. If you get bumped from a flight, the GATE AGENT is authorized to offer you as much as $2000 in compensation. If you're still pissed off, he can call a manager ... who is authorized to offer you as much as $10,000!!!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bump me! I'll be one radical pissed off mf'er at the gate! I'll be smiling on the inside, but won't smile on the outside until you call a manager and we have a "heated" discussion!! ;)
